The Henderson mayor has one more positive spot left in him -- that's the first one. But the second one is his way of introducing Dina Titus to Northern Nevada:

It would be interesting to know -- perhaps someone could report it when disclosure statements are filed next month -- the size of Gibson's buys?

Given the very narrow market for this ad (northern primary-=voting but undecided democrats), I wonder if in fact its not only going to get a minimal buy so that Gibson can find a way to get intrepid reporters to report on it ...as evidence for his "electability" argument.

Titus' own words are message enough that she is unfit to govern the entire state of Nevada. Why does there have to be an ulterior motive behind the ads other than to say--here are HER words! No spin, and no lies. I could see the newspaper clippings right on the ad! She said what she said, and people need to know where candidates stand. Her viscious speech and venomous personality are part of the package, and people need to know who she is as a candidate for governor. I read this same argument on the gleaner, (Not BOb), and it didn't make sense there either. Titus needs to learn to think critically before she opens her mouth and attacks. She's did it to richard perkins, she's doing it to Gibson, and if you look at her history, I bet she's done it to every person who has ever been forced to deal with her. No negotiation, no civility. Which also goes to demonstrate why she has been less than effective as a senator. And no--yelling and fighting does not a great senator make! We're looking for a leader for ALL nevada. Titus? Well, maybe part of it. And we don't take kindly to that in the north. End of story.
